Abu Ghraib dishinors all Americans, whatever their faith or philosophy.  It dishonors the. U,S. military.  It dishonors the U.S. govt for authorizing it.

It is a badge of shame, a scarlet T we shall all wear ashhamedly.  

As one person at daily kos pointed out, we said we wanted to stop Saddam's mistreatmetn of his people with chemical weapons. Then we used whute phosphorus. We wanted to put an end to torture,a nd we tortured. We fought Gulf War I to stop invasion--then we invaded.  

As Pogo once said< "We ahve seen the enemy, and they is US."
