we are so spoiled over here...

My own addition, a buddy of mine from College and her family live on Baffin Island which is practically the north pole.  They claim that this has been happening for a long time and much more serious than outlanders understand. According to them, this is serious trouble.

Many thanks too for the article on teenagers using the term "gay."  It still confuses this old lady.. or at least old by a teenager's standards.
