are my favorites, so here are a few virtual bags of mint milano's before the grain shortages put an end to them.
I was surprised by an AOL article on American's buying up rice and wheat. The title says: "Is this a sign of trouble?" Talk about a strange 'frame,' this is trouble, not a sign of it. Food riots are trouble. Higher food costs are trouble. Trouble is here from my bird's eye view. Now, to run out and buy my Mother some rice, since she must have enriched, medium grain, etc...

Oh, those mint ones are good! I am virtually munching on them right now. Thanks!
I haven't seen the AOL article, but I definitely agree that we are seeing "trouble, not a sign of it" in the rising food prices. This rise has come at the same time as a decline in subsidies for U.S. food banks, so that not only do food banks have lower supplies, but they also have higher demand. It's an urgent problem.
