Sometimes I feel like everyone around me got hit with the stupid stick, so I keep having to tell people the same things over and over and over, when it's not even my job to know those things in the first place (it's the job of the person whom I keep telling). I also wonder if there are any limits to a certain person's obstructiveness. I mean, actively giving out misinformation. This is taking up way too much time and energy to cope with.
In good news, have I mentioned that Scout is behaving awesomely lately? Scout is behaving awesomely lately.

I'm really looking forward to getting off work to continue reading The Years of Rice and Salt by Kim Stanley Robinson.
However, I'm a little disappointed that so few persons have joined the book club discussion. Maybe this one will take more time than some of the past discussions.

If I'd known no one else was going to read it, I'd have spent the time working on the novel I've been reading since last October (Inés del alma mía by Isabel Allende) rather than writing the diaries.
Still hoping to find a good color-in map of the world to post in the Book Club, though.
