Help With Weekly Faith Roundtable

Tue Apr 08, 2008 at 08:32:52 AM PDT

Since I am a terrible procratinator - I am just sitting down to organize and write the Weekly Faith Roundtable on theologically conservative Christianity/Evangelicalism that I WILL BE POSTING tomorrow (that was more self-motivation than certainty)

Quarkstomper offered to be a part - and I said I would trade emails as this approached - but, being a procrastinator, I just discovered there is no email address for QS in the profile. Oops.

Also, Vesticular seems to fall within my ilk. There may be other lurkers.

I do not even, at this point, have a structure for the diary other than *the obvious "required" questions:

  • What are the basic tenets/dogma/creeds/etc. of [Your Religion]?
  • Where and when did [Your Religion] start and how?
  • [Your Religion]'s view on other religions and on alternative viewpoints within [Your Religion].
  • A few general social or political issues considered important by [Your Religion] and why?
  • What do you most like and most want to change about [Your Religion]?

I am sure I will have an "equisitely crafted monograph" :-) by tomorrow - but I would rather have help crafting it - and since at the moment I have only begun to think about how to herd this group of cats - folks who are part of this sub-category should email me as soon as possible so we can chat about it.
