You see, in bizarro Republican world, staying silent and allowing your fellow citizens to remain clueless about how their leaders lie to them is the right, patriotic thing to do. Only traitors speak up about how their country is being flushed down the toilet when there’s still time to actually do something about it.

In a sad story, a Baptist pastor in Florida has taken leave pending an investigation into threatening notes he received. What did he do to incur such hateful, un-Christian animus? Rev. Sean Allen dared to remove the American and Christian flags from the church altar. When did devotion to flag become more important than - or, maybe worse still, equated with - devotion to God?

Wow.  What an absolutely disgraceful man.  This is the "man of God" who is going to take the political reigns for Evangelicals in America?  This is the man who will speak for them?  Is this what they want him to say?
