I don't often post diaries here, though I do read on a daily basis.  As agnostic as I am, I am feeling the need to ask for some prayers today, in whatever shape or form.  

I got a phone call yesterday evening from my ex-husband, Seth.  That is not out of the ordinary at all... We are such better friends now that we are divorced.  He and I realized we were incompatible as spouses, but we remain best friends now.  We divorced last July, after almost 7 years of marriage.  We did the right thing, for both of us, and we both know this.

He called me last night to let me know that his brother is not well.  This is not even his biological brother, but that really does not matter.  They have been brothers for over 20 years now...  I'll go beyond the flip to explain why I am asking for prayers...

Have you seen this?  Booman Link.  A group of Booers are putting together a twelve days of protest on Alito.  I haven't been as active as I'd like to have been on it, cuz I all of a sudden got the new job.  They're urging folks to contact certain people regarding a certain issue each of the 12 days... These certain issues being why we should be opposing Alito wholeheartedly.
