I am wondering. Is one of the prices of hate the fact that those who are victims of hate begin to see it everywhere.

Pastordan,you were right.I overstated my case when I compared Jermiah Wright to Fred Phelps.

Fred Phelps is the personification of the hate I received as a young person.I had my gentials shocked,was made to eat dog excrement and tricked into believing I deserved it because of the anti-gay hate he preaches.

Pastordan,you said I know there is no comparison between Wright and Phelps,and you are partly right. My head knows Wright is no Fred Phelps,my heart says they are the same.

  I am slowly leaving behind the cycle of violence that my rape at 5 and the fact that I was perceived as a fag-gut caused,but cannot help see hate everywhere. I think that victims of hate see it everywhere.I know I do.

 How are we ever going to heal the damage hate does if its victim tend to see it everywhere?

I cannot sleep tonight so I was watching a movie called "Why My Daughter?" on Lifetime Movie Network .

I am back from a long sabbatical .I have been meditating on my evangelical faith and conservative beliefs and questioning my spiritual path. I have come to the following conclusions:

One of the VT students who died, Ryan Clark, is from a town just outside my home town. There have been many blessings and some darkness as the local area prepares for Ryan’s Memorial service this Saturday.

I have been shaken by what happened at  Virginia Tech and want to share some thoughts:

Racism is a huge problem in our society.When it dealing with it and/or contemplating it overwhelms me,this song helps me.

I hope the lyrics help/inspire someone else.
