Hi Dad,
Well, it's been 10 years since the day you took Mom's car to Peoria to get the glass tinted, then drove back, exiting I-74 right before Brimfield, and getting in that accident.
The Ephesians helped us pick our new church

Well, the Lord, via Paul, spoke rather loudly to me during Sunday School a couple days ago, so He gets the credit, and I feel led to share this.
A brief history:
I grew up in the Baptist church, mostly 1st Baptist, my wife in a non-denominational Christian church in the same town. Recently while living in New Jersey for 6 years, my wife and I and our 3 kids regularly attended an independent Baptist church. As part of my service to the Lord, I revamped and operated their sound system. I also did some major and minor handyman repairs, both of which I am grateful for the opportunities and ability to do so. My wife also taught Sunday School there. We love that church, the pastor and the people, and had the opportunity to return 2 weeks ago and help with the VBS. The kids were able to see all their friends, too, it was truly a blessing.
Now back to the reason for my first diary.
